Ronald "Ron" Edward Slavik, age 81, of Green, passed away on September 18, 2025 at Autumnwood Nursing Home. He was born on November 25, 1943 to Joseph and Mildred (Wichert) Slavik in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Byzantine High School in 1962. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country.
Ron loved to go fishing and bowling. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Annette; children, Robert (Gina) and David Slavik; grandchildren, Brandon (Melissa), Sarah (Brae'Lon Toles-Ash) and Emily Slavik; great-grandchild, Silvey Slavik; and sister, Kathy (Bill) McDermott.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Russell Slavik; and his brother, Kenneth Slavik.
Ron will be laid to rest with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
