Michael Alexander Yovanovich, a vibrant and free-spirited human being passed away in his sleep on August 16th, 2025, in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. He was born on April 15th, 1968, in Akron, Ohio, to Michael Yovanovich and Kathleen Barnett.
A proud graduate of North Canton Hoover High School, Michael found his calling in the culinary arts, establishing himself as a talented and passionate Culinary Chef. His love for cooking was matched only by his deep appreciation for music, travel, building computers and socializing. Michael's easygoing nature and infectious energy drew people to him in any crowd. He was known for his love of online gaming and his unwavering devotion to his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints.
Of all his accomplishments, Michael's greatest pride was his daughter, Trust Michelle Yovanovich. Their bond was a source of immense joy and inspiration, as he cherished every moment with her.
It is a poignant detail that Michael's passing occurred during the Third Quarter Moon, a lunar phase that symbolizes letting go, reflection, and preparing for a new cycle. It is a fitting metaphor for a life lived with such a free spirit, as he now embarks on his next great journey.
Michael is survived by his loving daughter, Trust Michelle Yovanovich; and his siblings, Christopher Wayne Yovanovich, Odessa Yovanovich and Melissa Hultzman; many friends and family.
He will be remembered for his loyal heart, his adventurous soul, and the vibrant care free spirit he leaves behind.
