Ronald (Ron) Wayne Stoeffler, 63, of Harleysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025.

He was born in Abington, PA, on August 26, 1961, the son of Nancy Virginia (Hoppe) and the late Robert Ronald Stoeffler.

He graduated from Abington High School in 1979, where he was a member of the magic club. He attended many magic conventions over the years. After high school, he visited New York City and performed at comedy clubs, some of which Jerry Seinfeld performed at. He then moved to become a Shipping and Receiving Manager at Strawbridge and Clothier in Jenkintown, PA. After that, he decided to start his own business, which consisted of landscaping and maintenance services. His main passion throughout the years was 'magic comedy', which involved humor as a tool for misdirection to divert the audience's attention and deliver the illusion of a trick. He was able to pursue his passion as a side hobby, performing as a magician-comedian for both children's birthday parties and adult events. His love for comedy also extended to screenwriting, where he channeled his wit into crafting engaging stories for television shows and films. His most recent project was the creation (re-creation) of Chico Productions, which was always inspired by his appreciation for Freddie Prinze, Sr.

Family was very important to him. He was most recently caring for his mother. He enjoyed spending time with his brother and sister. He was a great stepfather for Derek, watching him play with the Abington Raiders, cheering him on from the sidelines, and continuing to support him over the years. He was also supportive of his nephews by attending many of their sporting events and special occasions. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, regardless of the task or challenge at hand.

He is survived by his siblings, Dawn Stoeffler-Finley (Ed) and Ken Stoeffler, his nephews Eddie and Anthony Finley, stepson Derek (Katie) Bachmann, their children, Mason and Ryan, and his beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services for Ron will be private at the family's convenience.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to either The Writers Guild Foundation (www.wgfoundation.org), or Kids In The Spotlight (www.kitsinc.org), or Active Minds (www.activeminds.org).

Services entrusted to the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, Jenkintown, PA, and condolences may be made at www.McGoldrickFH.com
