Funeral Service: Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 1:00 PM with pastor Trent Hammond officiating.
Interment: Sherwood Cemetery following funeral services.
Ronald L. Upp age 82 of Sherwood, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Centreville, Michigan.
Ron was born on February 4, 1941, in Coldwater, Michigan, a son to the late Darrel and Ruth (Smith) Upp.
Living his entire life in the Sherwood area, Ron was a member of the Crossroads Bible Church. He enjoyed gardening, caring for his flowers, and painting all kinds of different pictures. Ron also raised rabbits and chickens.
Surviving Ron today are his siblings: Doris Porter of Colon, Jack (Carolyn) Upp of Colon, Jerry Upp of Colon, Janet (Vern) Waters of three Rivers, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Darrel and Ruth Upp, Ron was preceded in death by his twin sisters Dena Evans and Donna Dinsmoor, nephews: Dennis, Darrel, Lewis Dinsmoor and niece Nicole Charity.
The Upp family will receive friends and relatives from 12-1 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Crossroads Bible Church: 1144 Dunks Rd, Sherwood, MI 49089. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 1 PM also at the church with pastor Trent Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery. The family asks memorial donations be directed to Crossroads Bible Church. Envelopes will be available at church.
