Ronald Williams, 79, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at home. He was born on December 27, 1945, in Kingston, son of the late Carleton and Helen (Kavanagh) Williams. Ron was married to his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia (Purhamus) Williams.

He was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1963 and later graduated from Ulster County Community College. Ron served in the US Air Force from 1968 to 1972 and later was a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service in Kingston for many years.

He was an avid antique and classic car enthusiast and was a member of the Woodstock Motor Club, Early Ford V8 Club of America, and the Red Hook Car Club.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Patricia Williams of Kingston, his son, Todd Williams and his wife Keri of Kingston, his grandson, Shane Williams and his wife Erica Halwick-Williams of Saugerties, his great granddaughters, Riley, Olivia, and Logan Williams, his sister, Linda Platte and her husband Wayne of Lake Katrine, his brother in law, Walter Purhamus and his wife Mary-Ellen of New Bern, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10am with entombment following in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
