Ronald Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. - Middletown on Jan. 13, 2026.
Ronald D. Williams, affectionately known by friends and family as Ron, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, after a long illness. Ron was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on December 14, 1964, grew up in Middletown, NY and settled down in Huguenot, NY.
Ron was a cherished husband to Sandy Williams, his loving wife of 33 years. Together, they built a life rich in laughter and mutual respect, exemplifying the enduring strength of partnership. He was a proud father to Joseph and a father-in-law to Brittany Williams, whose accomplishments filled him with immense pride and joy. Ron's siblings, Darla Conklin, Charles Williams, and Debbie & Matthew Boddie, will remember him as a beacon of wisdom and kindness, always ready with a word of encouragement and a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Donna Martin, their legacy of love and integrity lived on through him.
Those who knew Ron will remember him as a wise, loving, and kind man. He had a way of making each person feel valued and heard, and his advice was often sought for its thoughtfulness and insight. His nieces and nephews, in particular, will carry with them the fond memories of their uncle, who never missed an opportunity to show his support and interest in their lives.
Ron was a graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown, NY, where he first began to show the diligence and leadership that would characterize his professional life. His career at Bell Flavors & Fragrances as a Production Manager was marked by his commitment to excellence and his achievement of a Black Belt in Six Sigma, demonstrating his dedication to continuous improvement and quality.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Ron was known for his diverse interests and hobbies. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the NY Giants and NY Mets, reveling in the highs and lows of each season with unwavering loyalty. His love for Elvis's music was only matched by his passion for collecting comic books, mainly from Marvel and DC, and his impressive collection of vinyl records. Ron also found joy in the simple pleasures of a round of golf or a game of bowling, where he cherished the camaraderie and friendly competition.
Ron's impact on the world was as profound as it was gentle. He moved through life with a quiet strength that drew others to him, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Ron's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his compassionate spirit.
As we bid farewell to Ronald D. Williams, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and grace. Though he may be gone from our sight, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain with us always. Ron's journey through life was a testament to the beauty that can be found in simplicity, dedication, and the unwavering love of family.
