Born in Wilmington, DE, on September 15, 1957, he was a son of the late Richard A. and Mary Jane (Gray) Wollaston. Ron was a co-owner of Creative Floors, Inc. in Newark for 30 years until his retirement.
Ron had a passion for sports and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Clemson Tigers fan. He enjoyed visiting the beach and cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Kristy Curtusan, Lauren Gibbons (Brian), and Matthew Wollaston (Emily); siblings, Bret Wollaston, Jamie Ball, and Roger Wollaston; grandchildren, Max, Eli, Riley, Archer, Olivia, Blakely, and Greyson; and stepdaughters, Lauren Villone, Lillian Villone, and Leah Villone.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 noon until 2:30 pm on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online by clicking here.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ron's family. He will be missed. He was not only a great guy to work for, he became a good friend during my 26 years working at creative floors. Rest in peace my friend.
