Ronald Wooten Obituary
Mr. Ronald Winfred Wooten, 85, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born April 13, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late William Grant Wooten II and Della Irene Beroth Wooten. Mr. Wooten was an avid Andy Griffin/Mayberry fan. He loved watching Andy and Barney’s adventures in Mayberry and he also enjoyed watching Old Westerns. Mr. Wooten enjoyed a simple life and he was well loved. He is survived by his sister Shirley W. Aaron; nieces Shawn Boger, Sheree (Rich) Hatfield; half-sister, Beth Faircloth; and half-brother, William Grant Wooten III. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Brookstown United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pfafftown with Rev. James T. “Chip” Webb Jr. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Wooten Family.
