Ronaldean "Dawn" Gerbracht, age 62, of Grand Rapids, passed away at Butterworth Hospital on January 22, 2025 with her family by her side.
Dawn was born on May 29, 1962 to Victor and Judith (Upchurch) Gerbracht in Cadillac, Michigan. She graduated in 1981 from McBain Northern Christian. Dawn resided in Evart prior to moving to Grand Rapids, where she enjoyed being a newspaper carrier for the Grand Rapids Press. Dawn loved the freedom of riding her motorcycle, being barefoot and was one of the strongest women her children ever knew. Jessica Lipinski and Josh Gerbracht will always hold onto the memories of their mother making them laugh. Dawn adored her grandchildren and would often be goofy just to make them smile. She was a proud grandma to Delyla Gerbracht, Adam Lipinski III, Josephine Espinoza Gerbracht and Eileen Espinoza Gerbracht; beloved and supportive Aunt Sheri Upchurch, whom she was a caregiver for. Additional survivors include, her siblings; Sandy (Dick) Martin of Evart, Vicky Sanchez of Tomah, Wisconsin and Diana Chase of Reed City; half siblings, Victor "Ron" (Sandy) of Wolverine, David (Sandy) of Marion, Kathy (Gary) Grawey of Alpena and Deb (Pat) Crouch of Mancelona; sister-in-law, Carol Gerbracht of Hawkins and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Judith, four brothers, Richard, Dave, Jerry and Dennis Gerbracht.
Cremation has taken place through the Corey Funeral Home in Evart. Celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Until that time you are encouraged to leave condolences for the family on Dawn's tribute wall at www.coreyfuneralhome.com
