Rondell Gene Parker, commonly known as Mutt, passed away on December 5th, 2023, at the age of 85 in Hurst, Texas. He was born on February 11th, 1938, in Dardanelle, Arkansas to Jack and Ruby Parker. Rondell was a reliable, trustworthy, and dependable man who was known for his hard-working nature and loving personality. He was truly one-of-a-kind, and an inspiration for many.
Rondell is survived by his wife, Faye Parker, his son, Michael Parker, and his grandchildren: Victoria Horn, Jacob Horn, Matthew Parker, and Caroline Parker. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Marshall Horn. Rondell had many in-laws, extended family members, and close friends who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Haynes Ragsdale, and his daughter, Debbie Horn.
Rondell worshipped at Cross Church in North Richland Hills, Texas, where he found solace and strength in his faith, which was an important aspect of his life.
A memorial/visitation service will be held on Sunday, December 10th, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, December 11th, at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas, and all who wish to attend are welcome.
Mutt Parker will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in eternal peace.

I was a softball friend of Debbie's, as a child. Mr. Parker was a great father, always attending games and being his daughter's number one cheerleader.
He is a kind and smiling man in my memories, peace to his family.
