Ronald 'Ronnie' Lee Allen, age 71, of Nashville, TN, passed away on February 2, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Ronnie was born on December 6, 1952 in Nashville, TN to the late John Lewis Allen and Myrtle Marie Newman Brewer. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by brothers, William Jack Allen and Johnny Ray Allen. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Brewer; sons, Ronald 'Bubba' Allen, Jr., Robert Wayne Allen (Lashlee Pleasant); daughters, Rhonda Kay (Josh) Allen Roberts, Rita Ann (Anthony) Rice, Rena Faye Allen (Christopher Daniel Walker), and many grandchildren and great grand children.
Affectionally referred to as the 'Rummy King,' Ronnie was a man of faith and had even greater faith in GOD. He loved the outdoors, to include boating and fishing. He was always on the go, loved working and putting others before himself. Ronnie was a good son, a loving brother, father and grandfather.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Ronnie will be laid to rest at Carney-Demonbruen Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
