Ronnie was born on January 30, 1953, in Columbus, GA, the son of Lou Alton Elliott and Edna Thelma Stubbs Elliott. He retired as an equipment operator with Vulcan Materials. Ronnie was a former Mayor pro tem for the City of Shiloh for many years while serving on the council. He loved wood working, farming, race cars adn spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Joshua Elliott, sister Edna Lou Sedlacek, and brothers Roger Dale Elliott and Earl Leon Elliott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Margaret Elliott of Shiloh, GA, Jonathan Chase (Kristi Johnson) Elliott, Sr. of Shiloh, GA and Dusty Lee Elliott of Columbus, GA, sisters Nita (Gary) McManus of Graham, AL, Barbara Cody of Fortson, GA, brother Bennie Ray (Tammy) Elliott of West Point, GA, grandchildren Jonathan Chase (Shawny) Elliott, Jr., Alayna Maria Elliott and Samuel Lee Elliott, great grandchildren Dylan Easton and Liam Elliott, a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends Billy McDaniel, Kyle Grubbs, Uncle Ben Mann and many more.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family is being assisted by Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, GA. They requests that you please sign the online registry and leave condolences on the tribute wall page.
