Ronnie Joe Lyons, age 73, of Hot Springs, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
He was born on July 10, 1950, in Amity, the son of Major Rudolph Lyons and Virgie Ozell McGough Lyons. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronnie married the love of his life, Patricia “Patty” Annette Manning Lyons on September 25, 1970. Over the last 53 and a half years they built a life together full of love and many memories. Ronnie owned and operated Lyons Logging, Inc. He worked with his hands and could do anything he set his mind to, a true jack-of-all-trades. He loved fishing, traveling, going to casinos and anything as long as he was not sitting at home. He was an honorable man, giving the shirt off his back to anyone in need and never giving it another thought or expecting anything in return. Most of all, Ronnie loved spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an amazing husband, father, and papa. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Lyons of Hot Springs; his three children and their spouses, Jason and Valarie Lyons of Amity, Adam Lyons of Hot Springs, and Elizabeth and Bryan Gasaway of Bryant; his three grandchildren, Brent Lyons and his wife, Kortni, Ethan Lyons Gasaway, and Addison Gasaway; his three great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Kayleigh and Kayde; his three brothers, Kenneth Lyons, David Lyons, and Jimmie Lyons; and his many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and business partners that Ronnie became close friends with.
