Obituary
Born in Tulsa, OK on April 6, 1949, to Elger Mae Johnson and Curtis McPherson, Ronnie lived a full life filled with love and laughter. As a child, the family moved to Beggs, OK to help his grandmother, affectionately known as Big Momma, on the farm. While growing up on the farm, Ronnie fell in love with country living. He loved fishing, tending to the animals, riding horses and playing red light-green light with his siblings. He attended Wheatley High School in Beggs.
Ronnie was always handy from a young age. He attended Automotive School after moving back to Tulsa, where he learned to be a mechanic. He spent his whole life working hard and helping people. For a long time, Ronnie owned his own lawn service and handyman business, while continuing to work on cars. He loved cars.
In 1975, his first child, a son, Terrance, was born, and more than 10 years later in 1986, his baby girl, Brittany. Ronnie met the love of his life, Essie Goudeau, in 2000, and they married in 2011. A union that gave him two more daughters, Monique and Natasha, and another son, Charlie, all whom he loved as his own. Together Ronnie and Essie built a life in Tulsa full of precious memories.
Mr. Ronnie McPherson, in his 75th year with us, transitioned from Earth to Everlasting Peace on Tuesday evening, February 11, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his loving family near his side.
Services will be Saturday February 22, 2025 at 2:30PM inside The All Faiths Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors Inc., of Tulsa.
Visitation will be Friday February 21, 2025 from 1PM until 6PM in Tulsa.
