Ronnie Posey Obituary
He was born to the late Floyd and Macel Posey and carried their values of faith, loyalty, and perseverance throughout his life. A devoted Christian, he lived with a steady belief in God and a deep love for his family and friends.
He attended McKinleyville High School, where he was active in sports, and later played for College of the Redwoods. In recognition of his athletic accomplishments, he was inducted into the McKinleyville Hall of Fame, an honor he was deeply proud of and one that reflected his dedication and talent.
His love of athletics never faded. He remained a lifelong sports fan, especially cheering on the San Francisco 49ers and the Razorbacks, and rarely missed a chance to watch a game or talk sports with friends and family. He also maintained many close friendships in California, where he was well loved and remembered by a wide circle of good friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Posey; his children, Michael Posey and Amanda Wilson; and his cherished grandchildren, Tayler Wilson, Bryan Posey, Maisie Lee Boyd, and Josie Boyd. He also held a special place in his heart for his Uncle Tony and Betty Davis.
He is further survived by his cousins Phyllis Morelli, Melvin Posey, Bob and Pam Taylor, Scott and Jennifer Young, along with numerous extended relatives who will remember him fondly. He shared lasting friendships with Forrest Wooden and Jeff Wilson, who stood by him through the years.
He will be remembered for his faith, his competitive spirit, his loyalty to friends, and the pride he took in his family. His presence, stories, and steady support will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A memorial will be held at Sunny Gap Baptist Church in Conway, Ar. at a later time

So much time has passed and the years flew by! I always have held the memories of you and your beautiful family close to my heart. You were such a huge influence on me as a young man. You taught me so much, without even trying, about being a father and a family man just by being around you. Those were very impressionable years in my life because I grew up without a father around! You helped not only fill the void created, but also showed me what it takes to be a good man. How to be there for your family and be a loving husband! I have always looked up to you and had so much respect for you! My only regrets now are that I wasn't able to tell you that sooner! But as you watch over us in the years to come, know that I am thinking of you and I love you! Rest now my friend!

Ronnie, my cousin and my love, the memories always come flooding in when I think of you, Patty and the kids. What wonderful time's we had growing up together in Crannell. Those were truly happy days. Growing up and meeting the people we fell in love with; having our families and still having happy times together. In later years I went through a difficult time. You and Patty gave me a wonderful gift I've kept near all this years. The card said "This is a very special gift
That you can never see.

I haven't seen you in a few years, but you will be so greatly missed. I'll always remember your smile, laugh, sense of humor, and your kind heart. So many memories of hanging out with you and Patti with Mikey and Amanda. I'll always cherish those sweet memories and all the fun we had. Thank you for always helping everybody when they needed it and just being you. Rest in Love, Ron.
