Ronnie "Shakey" Reagan, 77, of Black Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at his home.
Born May 18, 1947, in Asheville, NC, he was the son of the late Lester and Helen Reagan. Ronnie was a man of God who enjoyed sharing his faith and love of God with others, especially his family.
He enjoyed Christmas and decorating for Christmas, gospel music, spending time with family, and walking in Black Mountain with his great-grandson, Jesse. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his children Robert Hall and Roy McMahan, siblings Lester Hardy Ragan, Shirley Gillespie, and Frank Ragan, and his spouse Gail, Larry Allan Ragan, Gail Hayman, and Jerry Ragan.
Surviving are his spouse, Maggie Annette Ragan; Frank Ragan, Karen Ragan, and Donna Ragan, all of Illinois. Brian Ragan, Shelly Ragan, and Michelle Ragan, all of South Carolina; Sandy McGuire of Tennessee, Jessie Ragan of Texas, and Brenda Barbee; siblings, Ray Reagan and his spouse, Pansy of Swannanoa, and Sharon McCallister of Daytona, FL; grandchildren, Tiffany and Craig Ison, Roy McMahan, and Tyler Hall all of Black Mountain; great-grandchildren, Jesse McMahan, Malyse McMahan, Rowynn McMahan, and Harley Ison and a few others, and several nieces and nephews.
