Ronnie Setlich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Paul Funeral Home, Inc. - St. Charles on Aug. 17, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Ronnie "Ron" Mark Setlich of O'Fallon, Missouri went home to Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior on August 13, 2025.

Let us not mourn the loss of Ron,

But rather be grateful for the time we had with him

And cherish the beautiful memories he left behind with us.

Ron is survived by his loving children, Ryan M Setlich and Alexis G Sullentrup (Jeremy). His grandchildren: Kalista, Lucas, Logan, Alexander, Mylin, Rayn, Jersey, Easton and bonus grandchildren: Taylor and Corbin. His beloved siblings: Lonnie (Petra) Setlich, Bonnie Yount, and Margo Willis (Bill). His many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ron was a master carpenter and was gifted with awesome creativity. There wasn't anything he couldn't build or challenge himself with, often inventing his one-of-a-kind, original, never seen before projects that were absolutely amazing. He loved his children fiercely and always greeted you with a smile. He had one of the funniest senses of humor that left everyone laughing. As much as he was a man's man, he had a soft and caring way about him, especially if a loved one was sick. He was the best caretaker and was always eager to lend a hand when needed. He was a die-hard lover of animals but always had a soft spot for cats. He was a forgiving Christian man. He was a friend to everyone, and he will be deeply missed by all.

Ron is also survived by his loving girlfriend of many years, Deb Schwaab and her children: Angie Rapp (Jeremy), Adam Schwaab (Moxie), Andrew Schwaab (Lauren) and their children: Addison, Theo, Thomas, Coleman, Nora, Weslie, Casen, Colby and Ayla.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Milan and Else "Margo" Setlich, his precious infant daughter, Jessica Suzanne Setlich, and his sisters Connie Davis and Marilyn Setlich.
