Born on February 12, 1983, in Killeen, Texas, Ronnie was a vibrant soul known for his hard-working nature, infectious laughter, and genuine kindness.
Throughout his life, Ronnie dedicated himself to his craft as a residential and automotive painter. His talents in painting extended beyond his professional pursuits; he painted memories in the hearts of all who had the privilege to be close to him. Ronnie was not only skilled in his work but was also a man who believed in building connections with people, always extending a hand to those in need. He was known for driving out of his way to help family and friends, leaving a lasting imprint of generosity on their lives.
Ronnie's love for the outdoors was evident in the joyful moments he spent with family. He thrived in the warmth of gatherings filled with laughter and the tantalizing scent of BBQs wafting through the air. Fishing and camping were not just hobbies for Ronnie—they were opportunities for him to bond with his loved ones, sharing stories and creating memories that would echo in their hearts forever. His passion for motorcycles and cars reflected his adventurous spirit, and he embraced life to its fullest.
As a proud father, Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Branden Shell and Lansten Shell, who were the lights of his life. His fiancé, Diana Williams, along with his beloved mother, Susan French, and his siblings, Jason Dumas, David Dumas, and Jennifer Wintz, cherish the memories they shared with him. Each laugh, every adventure, and all the quiet lunches they shared will forever resonate in their lives.
Ronnie’s love extended beyond his immediate circle to encompass a multitude of friends and acquaintances. His magnetic personality drew people towards him, and he left a legacy of joy and laughter that will not soon be forgotten. He embodied a life of service and friendship, making everyone around him smile.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, James Havner and Shirley Havner, whose love and guidance shaped the incredible man he became. He now joins them in eternal rest.
A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held on February 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Copperas Cove Location, 1614 S FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Ronnie are invited to join in honoring the legacy of a truly remarkable man.
