Ronnie Lee Summers was born on March 23, 1942, in Bluefield, West Virginia and was the preceeded in death by his beloved mother, Lilly Summers McCray, and his two brothers, Robert and Nathaniel Summers.
For 25 years, Ronnie worked for the City of Bedford, Ohio, as a supervisor before retiring to spend more time with his devoted wife of 53 years, Della, as well as his loving children, Veronica, Erica, Ronnika, Nathaniel, Walter, Ronnie Jr., Ronnie, Regina, Frances, Janie, Carmelita, Tracy and Michael. In addition, he is survived by a son-in-law, Elijah Smith and a sister-in-law, Verona Summers; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcomed Thursday, October 2, 2025 beginning at 4 PM at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111, where services will follow at 4:30 PM.
