Rory Joan Kline

Rory Joan (Douglas) Kline, age 62, of Medford passed away on Monday, September 30th. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Norma J. (Lamborghini) Douglas. Rory worked for 28 years in the Medford Public School System, serving as kitchen manager at Missituck Elementary School where she was known as "Ms. K."
Rory was the beloved wife of Ralph M. Kline of Medford, and the devoted mother of Stephanie Czerwinski, and her husband Derick of Revere. She was the loving grandmother of Brady Christopher Costarelli, Hazel Grace Costarelli, D.J. and Amaya Czerwinski, and the dear sister of Ronald Douglas and his wife Maricela of California, Charlene Douglas of Medford, Yvonne Silverman and her husband Ken of Pennsylvania, and Norma Douglas of Medford. Rory is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Rory had many passions, one of them being her job. She was formally known as Ms. "D" and being known as "a mom" to all the children that she served in her 28 years. She made sure their needs were met and that they were happy. She would never let a child go without eating. Other passions in her life were going to Maine in the summer to spend time with family. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, and she was an avid teddy bear lover, but her biggest passions overall were being a wife, mother and Noni. Rory put everyone else first and made sure everyone was ok and happy. She was selfless and the most amazing friend.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit on Wednesday, October 9th in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 4 through 8 PM, and again on Thursday, October 10th at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral service conducted in the First Baptist Church of Medford, 29 Oakland St. at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
