Rory Tate Obituary
Rory Kevin Tate died peacefully at the age of 67 at his home on May 31, 2024. Rory was born on March 26, 1957, to Robert Leon and Rose Mary Tate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His family relocated to O’ahu, Hawaii when he was six years old.
As a teenager in Hawaii, Rory could often be found surfing or playing tennis. He worked at Pearl Harbor and graduated from Radford High School. Rory moved back to Oklahoma City and started working at Western Electric where he met his wife, Sue. They would spend the next 38 years together.
Rory enjoyed playing golf with his wife and all his buddies. He also played in a band and enjoyed recording music for other people. Most of all Rory cherished time with family and friends.
