Rosa Calabria

Rosa Calabria, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Gizzeria, Calabria, Italy, Rosa was a devoted mother who always put her family first. She was known for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and generous heart.
Rosa had a passion for cooking, gardening, and cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her home was always filled with love, wonderful aromas from the kitchen, and the sound of family gathered together.
She is survived by her loving children: Jerry and his wife Elizabeth, Tino, Steven and his wife Deborah, Joanne, Susan, and Robert; and her cherished grandchildren: Alex, Will, Luke, and Tess. Rosa also leaves behind her dear siblings, Vincenzo Colella and Maria Scalese.
A wake will be held at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home in Williston Park on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 412 Willis Ave. Williston Park, NY 11596, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church in Carle Place at 10:00 AM, followed by a procession to her final resting place at Holy Rood Cemetery.
Rosa will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she shared and the legacy she leaves behind.
