******************************************************************************************************************************** Rosa Isela Cerda, 63, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on October 14, 1961, in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico, Rosa lived a life rooted in faith, creativity, and love for her family. A devoted member of the Catholic faith, Rosy was a longtime parishioner at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch. In recent years, she found spiritual nourishment attending St. Luke Catholic Church in Wills Point, Texas. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering-she cherished attending Mass every Wednesday and Sunday and found great comfort and joy in her spiritual community. Rosy's life was enriched by her deep love for her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Gloria Cerda and her partner Jorge Narez; sons Francisco Cerda and Reynaldo Cerda with his partner Regina Casares; and her cherished grandchildren Arianna Garza, Adrian Garza, Christian Narez, Angelique Narez, Camilla Cerda, and Cienna Cerda. Her siblings-brother Homero Cerda; sisters Maria Torres (Javier), Angelica Cerda (Julian), Dora Cerda (Jesus), and Patricia Cerda-also mourn her passing alongside a host of extended family members who held her dear. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Reynaldo Cerda and Elisa Guzman Cerda; and brothers Horacio Cerda, Javier Cerda, and Reynaldo Cerda. Rosy had a creative spirit that shone through in everything she did. She enjoyed making jewelry by hand-a hobby that allowed her to express both artistry and affection for those around her. A passionate reader, she often found solace between the pages of books. But perhaps nothing brought Rosi more delight than watching her beloved novelas-Mexican daytime soap operas that filled her days with drama and laughter. Her warmth touched many lives. Those who knew Rosy will remember not only her devotion to faith but also the joy she found in simple pleasures and the love she gave so freely to those around her. May Rosa Isela Cerda's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will be held on August 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a rosary will follow from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home Chapel 205 Corky Boyd Ave.
