Edgar Alberto Reyna, 50, passed away on August 8, 2025, in Garland, Texas. Born on July 26, 1975, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Edgar lived a life marked by resilience and individuality.

A 1994 graduate of Naaman Forest High School, Edgar made his home in Garland, Texas while carrying with him the spirit and strength of his roots. He was known to those around him as someone truly one of a kind-adventurous yet subtle, determined yet grounded. Though he faced challenges throughout his life, Edgar met them with quiet strength and unwavering resolve. He chose his own path and walked it with purpose.

Edgar is survived by his sons: Jeremiah Reyna, Joshua Reyna, and Carlo Reyna; his daughters: Alicia Bustamante and Mikaela Reyna; his brother Francisco Reyna, and sister Sugey Reyna. He also leaves behind extended family members who will remember him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Higinio and Juana Vasques Reyna.

Edgar's life was uniquely his own-a blend of courage, independence, and quiet devotion to those he held dear. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire strength in the face of life's trials.

Family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Edgar Alberto Reyna, de 50 años, falleció el 8 de Agosto de 2025 en Garland, Texas. Nacido el 26 de Julio de 1975 en Tampico, Tamaulipas, México, Edgar vivió una vida marcada por la resiliencia y la individualidad.

Graduado en 1994 de Naaman Forest High School, Edgar hizo su hogar en Garland, Texas, mientras llevaba consigo el espíritu y la fuerza de sus raíces. Era conocido por quienes lo rodeaban como alguien verdaderamente único: aventurero pero sutil, decidido pero con los pies en la tierra. Aunque enfrentó desafíos a lo largo de su vida, Edgar los enfrentó con fuerza silenciosa y determinación inquebrantable. Eligió su propio camino y lo recorrió con un propósito.

Edgar le sobreviven sus hijos: Jeremiah Reyna, Joshua Reyna y Carlo Reyna; sus hijas: Alicia Bustamante y Mikaela Reyna; su hermano Francisco Reyna y su hermana Sugey Reyna. También deja atrás a miembros de la familia extendida que lo recordarán.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Higinio y Juana Vasques Reyna.

La vida de Edgar fue exclusivamente suya: una mezcla de coraje, independencia y devoción silenciosa por sus seres queridos. Que su memoria brinde consuelo a quienes lo conocieron y continúe inspirando fuerza frente a las pruebas de la vida.
