Rosa Correa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Flores Funeral Home - Mission on Dec. 8, 2025.
In Loving Memory of Rosa Correa
With deep love and sorrow, the family announces the passing of Rosa Correa, who entered eternal rest on December 5, 2025, in Mission, Texas. Born on July 1, 1934, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, María Rosa lived a life rooted in faith, humility, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the grace with which she carried herself throughout her life.
Rosa found joy in life's simple yet meaningful moments: tending to her garden, cooking meals filled with love, knitting with great care, and maintaining an immaculate home filled with warmth and comfort. She loved watching the Magnolia Channel, decorating for Christmas with enthusiasm, and reminiscing about her childhood and the grandparents who raised her. Known for her sincerity and gentle heart, she never spoke negatively of anyone. One of her most cherished traditions was calling each of her children on their birthdays at the exact time they were born-a deeply thoughtful gesture that reflected her boundless love.
Rosa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tomás Correa Sr.; her parents, Miguel Coronado and Josefina Lomelí; and her brother, Pablo Coronado.
She is survived by her eight children: Ofelia Correa, Miguel (Carmen) Correa, Angel (Alicia) Correa, Teresa Correa, Manuel Correa, Elva (Jaime) De Luna, Tomás Correa Jr., and Blanca (Rufino) Garza, as well as 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts.
