Obituary of Rosa Elena Lam
Rosa Elena Lam, 65, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Sr., and Elena Yzquierdo. She is survived by her loving husband; Daniel Lam Jr., stepdaughter Jennifer and her husband Nathan Parmer; brothers Raul Yzquierdo Jr., Roberto and wife, GraceYzquierdo; sisters, Maria (Terry) Erlewein, and Yolanda Yzquierdo and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Rosa was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Daniel, and she cherished her dogs Neo and Daisy. Rosa was a strong and faithful Christian, who loved the Lord and sharing scripture. She received her master's degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake as well as earning her certification in Biblical Counseling where she was able to share the hope in Lord with others. Her love of knowledge was evident in constantly keeping abreast of current events and to delve even deeper into the Word of God, she learned ancient Greek. Rosa was a lifelong athlete who enjoyed taking long walks with her dogs and spending time on the golf course. She was extremely committed to her church, family, and friends. Rosa was also very creative, enjoyed flamenco dancing, thrift store shopping, gardening, and spending time with her family. Rosa will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services for Rosa will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Alex Hernandez officiating.
