Rosa (nee Truscello). May 11, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Antonino Nigrelli. Devoted mother of Grace (John) Grillo and Ida (John) Hutchinson. Nonna of Antonino (Omaya) Grillo, Dominic Grillo, and John Hutchinson. Sister of Aurelia Sofia. Daughter of the late Luigi and Ida Truscello. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. Rosa was originally from Capri Leone in Sicily. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, kind sister, and nurturing grandmother. Rosa valued her Italian culture and her Catholic faith. In Italy, she met and married the love of her life, Antonino Nigrelli, and together they started their life in America. She loved her family, her South Philly home, her neighborhood, and her church. Rosa took pride in her home, making it a place that was warm and welcoming for everyone. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she demonstrated strength, compassion, and an unconditional love for her family. Family was the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed family dinners, playing games, and laughing around the table. She will truly be missed. Relatives and friends are invited to her VIEWING Thursday Evening May 15, 2025 7PM to 9PM at THE MONTI RAGO FUNERAL HOME 2531-35 S. Broad St and Friday May 16, 2025 9AM at the Church of Stella Maris, 9th and Bigler Sts. (Parking Lot on 10th & Bigler Sts). Followed by her Funeral mass at 10AM. INT. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
