Rosa Maria Salazar

Rosa María, who was born in Peru, on December 7, 1945, and passed away at the age of 79, leaves a profound legacy of love, strength, and faith. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she cherished prayer and often asked to pray with her loved ones in her final days. A captivating storyteller, she brought joy to everyone she met. She was an unwavering mother to her six children: Edwin, Silvia, Carla, Julianna, Gustavo, and Rosalinda. Her family extended to include 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, to whom she gave an example of dedication and courage. She was able to raise her family with admirable effort and sacrifice, working tirelessly so that each of her children could grow as professionals and as good people. Her joy for life was reflected in her love for traveling and discovering new places, always with a deep gratitude to God for every experience. The funeral service was held September 26, 2025 at 10 a.m. at her church building in Riverton, Utah. She will be buried with family later that same day in the Lehi Cemetery. She will be remembered with immense affection, and we are left with the certainty that her love will continue to guide us from heaven.
