Rosalie Bridges, of Springfield, passed away on October 7, 2025, at Cox Hospital.
Rosalie was born to Oscar Paul Atteberry and Nancy Ellen Snodgrass on March 3, 1938, in Elkland, MO. Rosalie graduated from Central High School in 1956. Rosalie was united in marriage to Gene Bridges on September 1, 1956, in Springfield, MO. They shared 48 years together before Gene passed away. The couple were blessed with two children, Mark and Debbie.
Rosalie was a wife and homemaker. She had many interests and pastimes including sewing, baking, cooking, and camping. However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with grandkids and great grandkids.
Rosalie was preceded in death by stepfather Clifford Gann and mother Ellen Gann.
She is survived by her sister, Becky Spradling; son, Mark Bridges; Daughter-in-law, Debbie Bridges; daughter, Debbie Wallace; son-in-law, Clay Wallace; granddaughters Nichole McLemore, Colette Alspaw; great-granddaughters Sarah McLemore, Lucy McLemore, Addison Alspaw; and grandsons Marcus McLemore, William McLemore, and Miles Alspaw.
A visitation for Rosalie will be held on Monday, October 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield. A service will be held at 12:00 p.m. following the visitation, with burial to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery located in Fair Grove, MO.
