Joan D Brown

For those who called her friend, always sent her cards, and had a tender spot in their hearts for her: Joan D. Brown passed away on October 7, 2025, after 93 years. She is survived by her two grandsons, Cooper and Dillon, nephew K.C. Dorgan, great grandson, Brooks, and soon-to-be-born great grand daughter, Juniper. This remarkable woman reminisced about living through the depression; growing up without electricity or running water; becoming an educator; raising two children; and traveling the world. Then she experienced the great loss of three important men in her life starting with her son, younger brother, and then husband; and yet, was always the life of a party. She loved hosting, serving, and giving gifts until the day she passed. No one was a stranger to her. May she rest in peace and have her own little reunion. Blessings.
