Rosalie Bruno, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on June 14, 1935, in Brooklyn, Rosalie lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her passion for cooking and crafts, and her friendly nature that made her a cherished friend to many. She was also a devout Catholic, who cared deeply about her relationship with the blessed mother and prayed the Rosary daily.

Rosalie's years were spent in the bustling streets of Brooklyn, where she attended St. Brendan's High School. Her education there laid the foundation for the wisdom, grace, and compassion that would come to define her. After graduation, Rosalie's heart led her to the love of her life, Jimmy, with whom she built a beautiful family, including her children Rosemarie, Christine, Carolyn, and James.

As a mother, Rosalie was nurturing and supportive, always putting the needs of her children first. She instilled in them the values of love, kindness, and generosity, which they have carried into their own lives and passed on to their children. Rosalie's home was always filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking, a testament to her belief that food was one of the purest expressions of love. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in creating beautiful crafts that adorned the homes of her loved ones and brought beauty into the world.

Rosalie's legacy extends to her adored grandchildren, Christina, Maria, Vincent, Jessica, Jared, Angela, and James Jr., and great-grandchildren Marissa, Sophia, Julia, Kurt, Jake, and Gracie. Each of them was touched by Rosalie's loving spirit and will carry her teachings and memories with them always. She was a grandmother who could always be counted on for a warm hug, a listening ear, and words of encouragement.

Friends and family knew Rosalie as the embodiment of love and kindness. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in the well-being of others made her a treasured member of her community in Brooklyn. Rosalie's ability to connect with people was remarkable, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her.

Rosalie's passing, while a natural part of life's journey, leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Yet, they take solace in the fact that her spirit lives on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. Rosalie Bruno's story is one of a life well-lived, a life filled with love, and a life that will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

As Rosalie reunites with loved ones who have gone before her, her family takes comfort in knowing that her legacy will continue to shine brightly through the generations. They will honor her memory by living out the values she championed and keeping the warmth of her love alive in their hearts. Rosalie Bruno's life was a testament to the beauty of a kind soul, and she will be forever cherished.
