Rosalie A. "Rose" Golueke

Rosalie A. "Rose" Golueke, 92, of Marinette, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born August 1, 1930 to August and Anna Schwartz in Menominee where she spent her early life and attended high school. At the age of 17 she went to work as a cook and had an over 40-year career in local restaurants. She was first married to Melvin J. Kuehnau who preceded her in death. Rose has been married to Ronald Golueke for the past 43 years. She cooked at Utley's Restaurant which later operated as Pat & Rayleen's, in Menominee. Devoted to her family, she above all loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an avid sports fan of the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; children, Steve (Liz) Kuehnau, Gayle (Terry) Lasslett, Julie Borneman and Wendy Kuehnau; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a best friend who was like another daughter, Cindy (Terry) Doran. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas; and was the last surviving member of her Schwartz family siblings.
As was her wish, a private family memorial has been held followed by entombment in Forest Home Mausoleum.
