Rosalie Marie Jaeger, age 87, of Merrill, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at her home, while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. She was born on June 16, 1937 to the late Frank and Rhonda (Cottrell) Kloth in Tomahawk. Rosalie married Ronald Jaeger on November 21, 1987 at the Grace Baptist Church in Irma, WI. He survives.
Rosalie worked at Specialty Packaging until her retirement in 2002. Her grandkids meant the world to her and she cherished her time with them. Rosalie looked forward to family gatherings and holidays. She enjoyed a good game of Sheepshead and other card games with her friends and family. Rosalie would often listen to some relaxing acoustic guitar music and she loved watching and listening to live music concerts. She will be sadly missed, but her love and kindness will live on through her family.
Rosalie is survived by her husband: Ronald Jaeger, children: Jerry Lee (Jessie) Duginski, Linda J. Goodman (Greg Baierl), Jason Lance (Shannon) Duginski, Joshua (Christina) Jaeger, Kevin (Tara), Bruce (deceased -Heidi), Kraig (RaDell), James, Jamie (Daniel), Paul and Peggy (Joan) Jaeger, Dawn (Allan) Lemke and Joseph Gleason, grandchildren: Steven, Rachel (Joshua), Heather, Jessica, Devin, Caitlin (Ron), Erica, Randi Rae (Tom), Hunter (Alex), Lauren (Carson), Frank (Kayla), Tiffany, Trisha (Matthew), Megan (Devon), Cian, Tanner, Mark, David, Kyle, Renee, Jared, Tressa, Teanna, Ryan, Alicia, Leon Jr., Jerry Jr., Stephen, Jacob, Jesse, Austin (Emily), Zander (Michelle), Cordelia, Preston, Duncan, Isaiah, Mckayla, Aleeshya and Aenea, great grandchildren: Ryan Jr., Aliyah, Imran, Bella, James, Cade, Navaro, Rhyven, Joedeana, Madisen, Joseph, Loretta, Jaxxon, Parker, Blake, Lance, Jayden, Leonard, Kaden, Hukslee, Charlee, Paislee, Korbin, Evan, Oliver and Macie, great great grandchildren: Emalia and Rowan and sister: Carol (Bob) Kienbaum. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Leon and Brian, grandchildren: Robert Goodman and Brandon James and siblings: Deana, Lorna, August, Roger, Frank, Ronald and Nile.
The funeral service for Rosalie will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral Home at 301 Eagle Drive, Merrill. Pastor Andy Perry will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, also at the funeral home. Burial at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
