Rosalie M. McCarron

Rosalie Marie (Evanish) McCarron, 84, of Murrysville (formerly of Plum Boro), passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, after battling congestive heart failure. She retired from the law firm of Flaherty and O'Hara in May of 2010 and worked as a paralegal for 40 years. Rosalie was a world traveler who visited many continents over the years, including 30 cruises. Although she was almost everywhere, her very favorite place to go was Croatia, and she was fortunate to go there eight times over the years. Besides traveling, she enjoyed gardening, reading, and drinking wine, and she loved her cat Poppy, who spent the last four years of her life with her. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. In May of 2024, she moved from Holiday Park to Redstone Highlands in Murrysville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick McCarron; and her mother and father, Nick and Mary (Majercik) Evanish. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly; her beloved sister, Mary Ann (Evanish) Brown (Pete); and many cousins. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to our cousin Monica, who helped with providing care and companionship to her over the past several years.
