Rosalie Ann McKinley, 86, of Danvers died on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Seacoast Nursing Home in Gloucester after a lengthy illness.
Born on January 28, 1939, to the late Enrico and Rose (Bacchi) Erelli, Rosalie spent the first few years of her childhood in Everett before moving to Malden. She attended Malden High School and later married her best friend, Ronald McKinley, at St. Peter’s Church in April of 1959. Before her retirement, Rosalie worked in the Sears Credit Department. She was a dog lover, sassy, funny, loved to dance, and cherished her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, Rosalie is survived by her children; Kevin McKinley and his wife Jeannine, Karen LeBlanc and her husband Jeffrey, and Denise Whelan; grandchildren Ryan McKinley, Ashley Stanley, Alysha Lewis, Emily McKinley, Michael Whelan, Brittany LeBlanc Comeau; great-grandchildren Sophia Andino, Jack Roby, Allison Stanley and Andrea Stanley, Juliet McKinley, Joleen McKinley, and Bennett Comeau; brother Henry Erelli. She is predeceased by her brother John Erelli. She is also predeceased by her beloved great-grandchildren Faith, Hope and Joseph McKinley.
Services for Rosalie will be on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem, MA including visiting hours 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, a funeral service at 12:00 PM, followed immediately by a burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Salem. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Seacoast Nursing Home and of Care Dimensions.
