Rosie was born February 11, 1934 in Dale, Indiana the daughter of the late Meredith and Myrtle (Kingsbury) Phillips. Rosie was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, eating out and shopping with Helen.
She is survived by her sons, Gary (Susie) Rothgerber of Wadesville, Indiana, David (Mary Lou) Rothgerber of Evanston, IN; grandchildren, Amy (Kylen) Compton, Brent (Anika) Rothgerber, Eric Rothgerber, Melissa (Terry) Rothgerber, and Teri Rothgerber; four great grandchildren, Brayden, Brycen, Vivien and Flint.
In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Rothgerber in 2004, her two sisters, Jessie Graves and Lila Morris and a brother, Earl Phillips.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday October, 30, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer Shelby officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 8:00pm to Friday and 8;30 am to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
