Rosalie M. Valjavec

Rosalie M. Valjavec, (nee Carcara), 88, of Paramus, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. Before retiring, Rosalie worked for Halocarbon, Emerson, as a Bookkeeper. She was a long-time Member of The Paramus Women's Club, member of the Slainte Club, the 100 Club, the Red Hat Society, and participated in the Scholarship Show for Paramus HS. Rosalie was a life-long tap dancer and choreographer. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation, Paramus as well as a member of the Rosary Society.
Beloved wife of the late William Valjavec (2009). Loving mother of Wanda and her husband Richard Lev and Susan Murray. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Murray, Matthew (Amanda) Lev, Samantha (Joseph) Hale and great-grandmother of Ella, Gianna, Peter, and Lucas. Dear sister of Bart Carcara. Predeceased by her granddaughter, Caitlin (Murray) Serra (2020).
Family will receive friends on Sunday June 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30am on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church 234 N. Farview Avenue Paramus. Interment immediately following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
