ROSALIND BENDER CYNTHIANA, INDIANA https://photos.app.goo.gl/35MG4p3zGSXQRqteA Rosalind Bender, 92, of Cynthiana, Indiana, born July 26, 1933, to Gerhard and Josephine (Kieffer) Beuligmann in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at her home near Cynthiana, Indiana. Rosalind was an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church and a farmer's wife. She loved babies, pink flowers, music, attending to her family and living her Catholic Faith. Surviving is her husband: James Raymond Bender; sons: Mark Bender (Jennifer) and Nicholas Bender (Laura); daughters: Cynthia Bender, MD (Mike Fritz), Diana Shepherd (Rodney), Donna Rumps (Ken), Paula Schaefer (Terry) and Elise Bender (Matt Sepic); daughter-in-law: Shawn Bender; sisters: Marie Beuligmann and Magdalen Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren (with more on the way) along with several nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; son: Patrick Bender; brothers: Bernard, Robert, Norman and Raymond Beuligmann; sisters: LaVerne Mollenhauer and Valeria Colberg. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Poseyville, Indiana with burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery near Poseyville, Indiana. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the church In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or to St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 10 N.
