Rosanna Hodge, age 74, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Pittsburg, Kansas, to Don E. and Annalou Russell Cunningham, Rosanna lived a full and joyful life - one built on love, laughter, and the belief that there was no problem she could not figure out. She was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Cunningham, and two grandsons, Drew and Joseph Hodge. Rosanna was a homemaker and farmer who had a gift for making everyone feel like they belonged. She was the life of every gathering - adventurous, funny, and full of heart. Her warm hugs said everything her words did not need to. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and made sure no one ever left her table hungry or unloved. She and her husband, Ray, shared forty-six wonderful years together - a true partnership built on love, hard work, loyalty, and laughter. Together they loved to travel, visit with their family, and enjoy the little adventures of life. Rosanna was endlessly creative and caring. She spent countless hours dreaming up new recipes and inviting everyone she loved to join her around the table. She was a talented quilter who made every grandchild - and even her many exchange students - a handmade quilt. Over the years, she and Ray traveled across most of the west and visited several different countries. Curious about different cultures, they have opened their home to fifteen exchange students from around the world, offering not just a place to stay, but a family to belong to. Every summer, Rosanna hosted her precious nieces, "the Cunningham girls." All summer long, she entertained them and her youngest daughter, Jacque, with dress-up sessions in her wigs and vintage clothes, and together they would visit the neighbors to perform their song and dance routines. Those joyful summer days became cherished family memories that reflected Rosanna's playful spirit and her love of bringing joy to others. Those who knew Rosanna will remember her for her strength and her "can-do" attitude. If something broke, she fixed it. If someone needed love, she gave it. She taught her children and grandchildren - especially the women in her life - to stand strong, stay kind, and never back down from a challenge. Rosanna is survived by her husband, Ray Hodge; two daughters, Jacque Hodge-Goff and her husband Richard, and Tammy Abernathy and her husband Ken, both of Fayetteville; two sons, Birchie Hodge and his wife Lynn, and Josh Hodge and his wife Kobie, also of Fayetteville; her brother, Don Cunningham and his wife Judy, and her sister, Jeannie Anderson and her husband Gary, both of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren - Brant, Tyler, Matthew, Jessica, Jonathon, Logan, and Olivia, seventeen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. Rosanna filled every day with warmth, laughter, and purpose. Her legacy is one of strength, generosity, and love that reached far beyond her family and will live on in every life she touched. Visitation will be held at Moore's Chapel on Friday October 10, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., following the visitation, with burial to follow at White Oak Cemetery.
