Rosannah Green, 93, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, she was born in Old Rancho, Gonzales County, Texas on December 31,1931. She received her BS degree from North Texas State and MS degree from A&I Kingsville. Rosannah was an elementary school teacher and lived in Cost, Texas. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Gonzales.

She is proceeded in death by her parents James Clyde Green and Edith Dikes Green and two brothers James Clyde "Jimmy" Green and his wife Katherine, and Dikes Green and his wife Dorothy. She has two nephews Jim Green (Nancy) and Timothy Green.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Gonzales.

A graveside service will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 6:00pm at Dikes Family Cemetery.

All services are under the care and direction of Seydler - Hill Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas.

Rosannah was a dear friend in the Thomas Shelton Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Regent of our chapter and we have missed her smiling face. She helped me do geneolegy work and was very helpful witht he history of Gonzales area. She also belong to the Comal Springs Chapter of Colonial Dames 17 Century.
