Rosaria Findley, a beacon of love and nurturing spirit, departed this world on November 22, 2025, at the age of 85, surrounded by the loving care of her daughters. Born on January 3, 1940, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, to the late Carmen and Janet (Caringola) Maricondi. Rosaria's journey through life is marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and a joy that touched the lives of all who knew her.
In the cherished moments of her life, she celebrated the joys of raising her daughters, Lou Ann Nestor, Susan Findley, and Valerie Findley.
On August 15, 1960, Rosaria married her loving late husband, Louis Findley, whose memory remains alive in the hearts of her family. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her brother, Chris “Buddy” (Carolyn) Maricondi, her grandson, Denver (Emma) Findley, and her joy, great grandsons, Carter John Findley, Dustin Phillips and brother-in-laws, William Scott and Daniel (Barbara) Findley. She also leaves behind the incredible neighbors on Alexander Ave. The family wants to thank you for all the TLC you showed to our mother and our family throughout the years.
Rosaria’s interests extended beyond her family; she found joy in the company of her many pets, and the Waterdam Church friends, who were like her extended family. She reveled in the delight of card and board games, often enjoyed camping, fishing, and her many cruise ship vacations. She always had a story to tell that always put a smile on faces.
Her legacy is not only defined by her proudest accomplishments as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The absence of Rosaria will resonate in the hearts of those who passed before her, including her late husband Louis, son-in-law Kevin Nestor, and sister Kaye Scott, whose lives she enriched with her boundless love.
As we remember Rosaria Findley, we embrace the echoes of her laughter, the sweetness of her cooking, and the love that transcended her spirit that will forever touch the fabric of her family’s existence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Waterdam Church. All services are entrusted to the William Neal Funeral Homes Ltd. 925 Allison Ave. Washington PA 724-225-8122
