Roscoe Dale May born June 30, 1934, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky, at the age of 91. Roscoe grew up on Quick's Run and attended Martin School. He was a quiet, wonderful person who was a friend to everyone. He constructed beautiful furniture for everyone he worked for and was a perfectionist that certainly showed in his work. He was a furniture maker who combined artistry with skilled craftsmanship to construct beautiful, functional furniture, often specializing in woodworking design, or personally designed pieces with a artistic vision to conceptualize unique, beautiful forms. He had a deep knowledge of wood and could use precision craftsmanship and a skilled technique to join, shape and finish all wood products that he produced. He was the owner of May Wood Products, and personally designed all the cabinets and most of the furniture in their home.

Roscoe proudly served his country in the United States Army, in 7th division and Germany.

He is survived by his only child, Bradley Dale May who made his home with his father.
