Mrs. Rose Marie Blanding

BLANDING, Mrs. Rose - Age 64, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at her residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Interment New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, G-4142 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Saturday. Mrs. Blanding will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday. Mrs. Rose Marie Blanding was born September 17, 1958, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Warren and Florence Livingston. Rose was a lifelong resident of Flint, Michigan. She was educated in the Flint Community Schools and graduated from Northwestern High School. Rose attended Mott Community College. She enjoyed watching all sports on TV. Rose enjoyed playing basketball, dominos and being with her family and friends. She will be missed by her family and friends. Rose leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Alexander Blanding, Jr. of Aberdeen, MD; son, Alexander Blanding, III; grandchildren, Alana Marie Blanding, Addison Marie Blanding and Alison Marie Blanding all of Charlotte, NC; sister, Rene Paxton of Flint, MI; brothers, Warren (Tammy) Livingston, Jr. and Wesley Livingston all of Flint, MI; nieces, Ylonda (Kenneth) Montgomery, Phyllis Peterson of Los Angles, CA, Kimberly (Marcus) Peterson, Warnetta (Rory) Lee, Wendy (Reginald) Moore, Flo'Niesha Livingston and Wonica (Jamez) Tims; nephew, Warren Livingston, III; great-nieces, Porshia, Shanique, Monte'via, Patricia, Codi, Ja'Tavia, Aliyah and Amaya; great-nephews, Kenneth, Jr., DeQuan, Deontay, Davion, Warren, Josiah and Ryan; god children, Arnisha (Bobby) Lacy of Anchorage, AK, Verdis "Devon" Richards of Tampa, FL, James Tolbert, Jerome McSwain, Djanae Love, Jamiya, Jalayah and Journee Tolbert and Karanja White all of Flint, MI; cousin, Joe Rowlery and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Sharon Thomas, Nancy Nard-Bolds, Gail Henderson, Simone Jackson and Kena Gerald. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Livingston, Sr. and sister-in-law, Florence Livingston; and a host of aunts and uncles.
