Brady, Bethany Jean - age 76 of Sterling, formerly of Waterford, journeyed to her heavenly home on February 9, 2026. A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507 with Pastor Douglas Kennedy officiating. Private interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, Michigan. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link at the base of this obituary. Visitation is from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2026, at the funeral home and 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of service. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bethany to the Judson Baptist Church (201 W. Harrison Street, Prescott, Michigan 48756).
Bethany was born on August 12, 1949, in Flint, Michigan to the late Warren Todd and Mable Jean (Potter) Hunt. Bethany graduated from Northwestern High School in Flint, MI. Bethany went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English, from University of Michigan - Flint. Bethany married Bill Brady in Flint, MI on September 23, 1972. Bethany began a career in teaching but later changed careers to become an accomplished licensed stockbroker assistant for ten years at Merrill Lynch and fifteen years at Morgan Stanley. In 2014, Bethany and Bill retired to their cottage on the Rifle River in Sterling, MI. Bethany and Bill were married for 49 years until his death in July of 2022. Bethany, along with her husband, dedicated their time and service to their local Baptist church, Judson Baptist Church of Prescott, MI.
Bethany is survived by her son Douglas (Sara) Brady and her brother Duane (Tamara) Hunt, sister Cynthia (Timothy) Morel, and sister Penny (Gerry) Guzman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Bill.
