Rose L. Bond Hager, 89, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Bradford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 29, 1935, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Doris (Talerico) Vecellio.
Rose was a 1953 graduate of St. Bernard School.
On June 12, 1954, in the St. Bernard Church she married Waldemar Bond who died May 22, 1997. She later married Robert G. Hager on February 21, 2003, and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2011.
Rose worked at McCourt Label, Grays Drug Store, Rea and Derrick and K Mart in the Jewelry Department. She later quit working and dedicated her life raising her family.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and the Greater Bradford Area Senior Center.
Surviving is a daughter, Robin (Andy) Ackler, of Bradford, five sons Michael (Kas) Bond, of Fruitport MI, Mark (Monica) Bond, of Holland MI, Eric Bond, of Bradford, Adam (Rhonda) Bond, of Bradford and Brian (Kim) Bond, of Bradford, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both her husbands, and one son, Craig Anthony Bond who died June 26, 1976.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday in the Grace Lutheran Church at 10:00 am, with Interim Pastor Barry Keurulainen of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Bradford Senior Center 60 Campus Drive Bradford, PA 16701 or Grace Lutheran Church.
