Sandra A. (Rich) McCord, 88, of Bradford, passed away peacefully at home with her loving daughter by her side.

She was born in Bradford to John A. Rich and Doris (Humphrey) Rich. Sandra
graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1954 and married John R. McCord on October 20 of that same year.

After relocating to San Antonio, Texas, for her husband'sjob, Sandra discovered Sweet Adelines, a women's barbershop singing organization that became a lifelong passion.

She was a proud member of the Mission Belles chorus in San Antonio, and later, after moving to Colorado, sang with both Mountain Melody and Skyline Choruses. Over her 50+ years as a Sweet Adeline, Sandra held various leadership roles and made countless friendships through music.

Sandra's legacy is one of music, devotion to family, and the joyful harmony she brought into the world.

Sandra was a devoted volunteer at Laredo Middle School and later at Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, CO, where she later worked as a Dean's secretary until her retirement in 2010.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy K. McCord, as well as her sisters, Linda Sayers (William) and Sara Whitney (Harold) all of Bradford. Sandra also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John R. McCord; her son, Scott M. McCord; and her brothers, John Rich Jr., Donald Rich, Joseph Rich, and Phillip Rich, and an infant sister, Gloria Jean Rich.

Friends will be received on Wednesday April 30, 2025, from 10 am to 11 am in the Fairmount Funeral Home, Denver, CO, where at 11 am Mtn Time Zone, funeral services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandra's memory to Sweet Adelines International at www.sweetadelines.com.
