Rose Ann Clarke
Nov. 24, 1932 - Jan. 4, 2026
Rose Ann Clarke, 93, longtime Bethel resident and widow of former Bethel First Selectman Francis J. Clarke, died January 4, 2026, in Chatham, MA. Born November 24, 1932, in Norwalk, CT, she was the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Baron.
Rose Ann had careers in science, education, and manufacturing, and was active in Bethel civic life. In retirement, she lived in Harwich Port, MA, where she taught in the Harwich Public Schools and was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters, and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and her brother Ernest "Buzzy" Baron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held January 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Bethel. Donations may be made to The Family Pantry of Cape Cod or the Bethel Community Food Pantry. For more information or to leave a remembrance, visit cornellmemorial.com.
