Rose Marie Deno 74, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born October 13, 1950, in McLean County to the late Raymond Sr. Davenport and Lucielle Davenport.
She was married to Jerry Deno Sr. for 58 years, they grew up together, loved long car rides, and walking together in the rain. Together they had three children whom they loved dearly, Jerry (Leighann) Deno Jr., Daniel (Mary Deno Ellis) Deno Sr., and Billy Deno. She loved to cook and take care of her boys and kept everyone in line with her sassy attitude that they all enjoyed.
Together, they had four grandchildren, Heather (Donovan) Neel, Daniel Deno Jr. (Chelsea, Olivia, Malcolm), Ashleigh Deno, and Jarred Deno. Rose enjoyed volunteering at their various schools, watching them play outside and growing up to become fine adults. They also had 3 great-grandchildren, Logan Veach, whom she enjoyed watching him play baseball and got to see him go off to college, Madison Veach, and she was looking forward to her having baby ladybug in a few months, and Aaliyan Neel who was the baby and Rose treated her just as that, spoiling her rotten.
Rose was also survived by a sister, Katy (Ricky) Hempfling, whom she loved sitting outside with; another sister, Kathy Davenport; a brother, Daniel (Carol) Davenport Sr; also several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death and reunited with her brothers, David, Robert, and Raymond Davenport Jr; and her sisters, Margaret Ann (Jackie), and Sissy Cook.
Rose is already missed, she held the family together and was always just a phone call away.
