Rose Marie Hebert, 83, of Spear Street in South Burlington, died on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Burlington Health & Rehab following a long illness.
She was born on July 10, 1940 in Hadley, MA, the daughter of John and Mary (Yarrows) Kermensky. Rose was a graduate of Hopkins Academy, class of 1958. She was known for wanting to help anyone in need and when you walked through her front door, the first thing she would ask you was if she could get you anything to eat, and then she'd scurry off to the kitchen to go make something. Rose's other interests included camping, gardening, crocheting, knitting, and sewing.
She is survived by her two sisters, Phyllis and her husband Ray Sylewski and Annie Castoe; one brother, John Kermensky. Rose is also survived by her children, Reginald C. Hebert, Jr., Robin M. Menard and her husband, Charles E. Menard, and John T. Hebert; grandchildren, Dana Hebert, Ashley Hebert, and Bradley Menard; and four great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald C. Hebert, Sr. in May 2008 and one son, Steven M. Hebert in July 2023.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in South Burlington. Interment will immediately follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rose's name can be made to a charity of your choice.
