Rose Marie Holland, 87, of Upper Saucon Twp., passed away peacefully at home, with her children by her side on Friday, January 31, 2025. Her husband, Leroy C. Holland, passed away on June 17, 2009. Born in Lower Milford Twp., she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Julia (Solonick) Vasilik. Rose was a graduate of Coopersburg High School and attended Chestnut Hill Church. She was a manager at the former K-mart Café in the Quakertown Store, for many years until retiring. Rose was an avid bingo player and was a member and Past-President of the Countryside Garden Club.
Survivors: Son, Don Holland and his wife, Helen; Daughters, Debbie Werkheiser and her husband, Dan, and Dawn Pizzuto and her husband, Stefon; Grandchildren, Jasent Holland and his wife, Kristy, Dustin Werkheiser and his wife, Tara, Deken Werkheiser and his wife, Cyndi, Zoe Pizzuto and Keely Holland; Great-Grandchildren, Dezirae Werkheiser, Matthew Holland and Ellie Holland; and Sisters, Helen Bartholomew and Annamae Brack. She was preceded in death by Siblings, Dolores Hysick, Stephen Vasilik, Jr. and Eddie Vasilik and George Vasilik.
Services: Memorial, 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 Friday in the funeral home. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Coopersburg.
